Craig McPherson

Craig McPherson is a businessman and attorney in the Kansas City area. His legal practice includes small business formation, aviation law, mediation and business litigation. Mr. McPherson also serves in the Kansas legislature as a State Representative from the 8th District, where he represents parts of Southern Overland Park and Olathe.

Craig practices law in Kansas and Missouri, where he is licensed in both state and federal courts.

Craig obtained his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Government and with honors in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College in 2006, where he graduated cum laude. He received his Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law in 2010, where he was Managing Editor of the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal. Mr. McPherson now manages the Johnson County, Kansas office of the McPherson Law Firm.


James McPherson

James's practice focuses on Estate Planning, Small Business Services, Banking and Financial Institution Practice, and Property Law. Prior to becoming licensed as an attorney, Mr. McPherson gained several years of experience in small business matters, as well as banking, property, and title matters.

James received his Bachelor of Arts in 2005 from Hendrix College. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of Arkansas Little Rock, Bowen School of Law, where he was an associate note editor of the Little Rock Law Review.

Mr. McPherson is the managing member of the Little Rock office of the McPherson Law Firm and is licensed to practice law in Arkansas.


John Kanaga

John's practice focuses on debtor bankruptcy, contract disputes, commercial law, civil litigation, appellate advocacy, corporate governance, and small business planning.

Mr. Kanaga practices out of the Johnson County office of the McPherson Law Firm, and is licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri.

John received Bachelors of General Studies in Geography and in Economics at the University of Kansas in 2005. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2010, where he served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy.


Kyle Mayton

Mr. Mayton's practice focuses on civil litigation, bankruptcy, small business matters, and domestic relations. Mr. Mayton works out of the Little Rock office of the McPherson Law Firm and is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Arkansas.

Kyle received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas Tech University in 2008. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock Bowen School of Law in 2011.
